Grandma's House

This past week Curtis went to scout camp so the boys and I went to my parents house. Both boy were good travelers on the way down. We got to spend lots of time with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Jeremy, Aunt Emmy and a variety of animals! There are 3 dogs, 2 cats, 10 adult emus and about 9 or 10 babies (I can't remember how many). That doesn't include the local herd of deer or the frogs or fish in the pond or the tank full of guppies. When looking for a place to entertain little boys Grandma and Grandpa's house has it all!

There were a few highly entertaining moments. Talon picked up a 2ft long piece of 1x8 lumber and was messing with it. Logan asked Grandma if that was okay. She told him as long as he didn't break a window or hurt himself it was fine. The next thing we know the boys are both carrying a 10ft length of 1x8 all over the backyard! Boys will be boys I guess...

We hit the outlet mall and got some great deals on clothes and organization stuff, went swimming and Emmy and I even made a headboard! It was a busy and fun-filled week. As much as I enjoy visiting my family while Curtis is at scout camp I am always glad to get home!
